Dear Friend,
We will be commemorating the First Yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) of our dear mother, Rebbitzen Shterna Sara Kalmanson, Of Blessed Memory, on April 5, 2020 / Nissan 11.
Our Mother dedicated her life to spreading the love and light of Torah in the Greater Cincinnati area, as an emissary of the Rebbe. In keeping with her desire that we treasure every moment and experience as an opportunity to learn, grow and give, we celebrate her life through enhancing our community.
Her mentor, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, taught that all our loved ones who have passed, are in a good place. We can send them gifts, by doing Mitzvot in their honor, which bring them great pleasure.
We will honor her memory by having a new Torah Scroll written and dedicated to her memory.
Please join us and “send gifts” in memory of our dear mother who passed away in her prime. Continue her legacy by following in her footsteps and partaking in the special Mitzvah of writing a Torah Scroll in her memory, and perpetuate her life’s work in Cincinnati.
The Torah will be read regularly at the Jewish Discovery Center, in Mason. The JDC is one of the many Jewish institutions which she helped establish, through her vision and foresight.
Please give your gift today to dedicate a section for you and your loved ones in ‘Shterna’s Torah.’ Your gift will enable you to have a share in performing the 613th Mitzvah, to write a Torah scroll, and you will play a part in keeping her legacy alive for generations to come.
Thank you,
Extended Kalmanson Family
