Celebrate Together

Kiddush is one of our favorite parts of Shabbat at JDC — a chance to sit together, catch up, enjoy good food, and celebrate as a community.

Sponsoring a Kiddush is a beautiful way to mark a birthday, anniversary, new baby, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or special milestone — or to honor the memory of a loved one. Whatever the occasion, we would love to celebrate together with you.

Good to Know

Guests

All Kiddush packages are prepared to feed our regular Shabbat crowd of approximately 30 people.

If you're sponsoring for a special occasion, you're welcome to invite up to 10 of your own guests at no additional charge. Inviting more than 10? No problem — additional guests are $10 per person after the first 10.

Please let us know your expected guest count when you submit your sponsorship, so we can make sure there's plenty of food for everyone.

If we aren't notified in advance about additional guests, the extra guest charge will still apply, along with a $100 last-minute accommodation fee to cover the extra food and last-minute preparations.
