Dear Parents,
We hope you all enjoyed spending family time over the break. We are so happy to be back in class! The children have already gotten into the routine and are hard at work.
This month we have been focusing on the Human Body and Nutrition. The children have been discussing the food pyramid. As we have been focusing on what makes our body healthy, please do not send candy to school and only send one treat in your child’s lunch.
The Body Mechanics Workshop came on Friday. Using puppets and interactive songs the students helped Miss Jane find Mr. Nobodies missing heart. Click here to see pictures of the workshop.
Next month we will be learning about the seasons and weather we encourage you to discuss this at home.
A letter detailing winter school policies and procedures will follow. Please be sure to read it.
