Dear Parents,
This week was a very exciting week. We talked about the water cycle and saw a picture of how the cycle works. We pretended to be dancing little white clouds, when we all came together we became gigantic gray clouds bringing rain and snow with us.
Then we became snowflakes falling from the sky and melting on the ground. It was a perfect week for this theme as we had white and grey clouds, rain and snow.
On Wednesday we did a science experiment using dry ice. Morah Jessica showed us what happens when dry ice is put in water or soap. It was a lot of fun to see all the bubbles.
In our art center we are hard at work making our beautiful winter projects, we started off with making fluffy white clouds and grey rain clouds and will continue to make many more beautiful art projects.
The book that we’ve been reading and enjoying this week is called, “Little Cloud” by: Eric Carle.
We would like to welcome Morah Stacy to our class. She is a lot of fun and we are excited to have her join us. She grew up in Ohio and loves working in our classroom.
