Dear Parents,
This week we finished talking about the tree parts and the many ways we benefit from them.
We pretended to be a seed and along with sun and rain we became, little by little, a big strong tree with roots, a trunk, branches and leaves.
Aside for oxygen that we need to breath, we discussed additional items that come from trees, including wood, shade, paper, maple syrup, rubber, chewing gum, fruits, nuts, and chocolate.
Our beans have sprouted! We are taking good care of them, giving them sunlight, water and lots of love. Our celery's have also begun changing colors – wow!
This week we enjoyed reading the book "Flora’s Surprise" by: Debi Gliori
Purim preparations have begun! For one of our art projects each child needs an empty Pringles container. Please send one in by Friday, February 27.
We are looking for princess costumes to borrow for the week of Purim to help tell the Purim story. If you have any princess dresses, crowns etc that we can borrow, please send them to school.
If you have not yet turned in your summer camp survey please do so. In order for us to put together a program to best fit your needs, we must receive your input.
On Thursday, March 5, our class will be having Purim Parent’s Day. Please join our class from 9:45-10:45 am to enjoy a fun time in the classroom with your child. If your child is not scheduled to be at school at this time, we would love for you to join us with your child.
