Dear Parents,

We had such a fantastic week!

When we came to school on Monday we had a wonderful surprise, our classroom was changed around with many new and exciting works added to our shelves. We have been hard at work in the Practical Life and Sensorial centers. We have been working on our numbers and sounds and have been enjoying all our other new works.

The students are now familiar with the characters and their respective roles in the Purim story. We each made a Megillah which we can use to tell over the story of Purim. We used our Graggers (noise makers) and shook them to make a loud noise when we heard Haman’s name.

We enjoyed being little chefs as we made Hamantashen. We did all the work by ourselves! We rolled the dough, shaped it, filled it and pinched the corners to make a yummy Hamantash.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our Purim Parent’s Day. We enjoyed having you do some fun activities in our classroom.

Reminder: There will be no school on Tuesday, March 10 due to the holiday of Purim. We hope to see you at our Purim Carnival from 2-4pm.
