POPS PRESENTS CHANUKAH
FAMILY GAME NIGHT
Enhancing its Chanukah programs and celebrations for the entire family, POPS (Parents of Preschoolers) club presents Chanukah Family Game Night N’ Latkes.
The popular POPS Club for families with preschool-aged children is offering a fun-filled opportunity to join other families for an exciting night of candle-lighting, games and fun while spending quality Chanukah time bonding with family, on the fifth night of Chanukah, December 20th, 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Families can play Dreidel, boggle, scrabble, monopoly, chess, checkers, and other age-appropriate games, as they indulge in a choice of potato latkes, apple latkes, sweet potato latkes, cheese latkes and a variety of additional home-made latkes with assorted toppings. The program also includes Chanukah Bingo, Chanukah Taboo, Chanukah Pictionary, Chanukah [chocolate] Gelt, candle-lighting, prizes and a grand Dreidel play-off for adults and children.
"Chanukah is a time for family celebrations along with our communal Jewish family,” said Laura Rossey, Chair of the POPS Club. “It is a time to build Jewish pride and unity. We are excited to help bring together all members of our community at a fun-filled Chanukah program that symbolizes unity, light and joy.”
The entire community is invited for this event, taking place at the newly constructed Jewish Discovery Center conveniently located across from Cedar Village in Mason, at 7587 Central Parke Blvd.
